I started my fitness journey back in January 2011 and then went vegan on March 8th, 2014 after watching Forks Over Knives.My Mom was diagnosed with colon cancer in August 2014 which pushed me to learn more about holistic healing.
Colon cancer is one of the most preventable cancers. Colorectal cancer is a “food-related” cancer. Everything you eat passes over the lining of your digestive tract. The lining of the large intestine and the rectum at the lower end of the digestive tube contains waste, digestive fluids, bile acids and fiber. That lining is bathed by chemicals in food, your own hormones and secretions, and healthy and unhealthy bacteria. The contents of your intestines have a direct impact on the health of the cells lining the bowel. Colorectal cancer is directly impacted by your diet.

Eat a plant-based diet, spend time in the SUN, participate in fun activities, stay active, deep breathing, massage, meditation, prayer, yoga, rest, spend time with loved ones, listen to comforting and uplifting music and try to stay positive.Keep all negativity and negative people out of your space. Until you experience it or are very close to someone that is experiencing it you really have no idea what it is like.I love what I do and I love helping others. I live my best life for myself and the ones that have transitioned on.
